Music/Singing

Ven. Canon Geoffrey Kairu, Vicar

Ven. Canon Geoffrey Kairu

Singing is a means of Praising God, a form of Celebration, an expression of Joy and a means of relaxation or amusement.

Singing is an  important part of the life of the Church. It is an expression of Praise to God that must arise from a heart filled with joy and gratitude. The songs sang in Church must be firmly based on the Word of God, and we must sing with understanding, not simply with the feeling of enjoyment. In this way, Christians will truly be able to Praise God and we as singers will be truly built up to our Christian Faith.

Christian Faith can be summarised through singing and can always be recited or repeated.
